Al-Sufaraa Schools (one of the schools of Integrated Development Company for Education and Training) held the Istisqa’a Prayar this morning, following the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and in response to the request of the Custidain of the Two Holy Mosques—may Allah preserve him—to perform the Istisqa’a Prayar across all regions of the Kingdom.
The prayer was performed by the school’s students and staff from both the educational and administrative bodies, in a faith-filled atmosphere marked by humility and tranquility. They supplicated to Allah Almighty, asking Him to send down rain and spread goodness throughout the land, inspired by the supplications for rain reported from the Prophet ﷺ.
This initiative comes as part of the school’s commitment to instilling religious values in students, connecting them with the Prophetic traditions, and reinforcing meanings of faith and reliance upon Allah, alongside its educational role in nurturing students’ religious and spiritual awareness.
We ask Allah Almighty to make it an hour of acceptance, to bless the land and its people with rainfall, and to grant us beneficial and blessed rain.
